Helpful tip for Children's Ministry:

Puppets can be a great communication tool for preschool ministry, but also overwhelming from a management standpoint. At our church, we have developed recurring puppet characters that share a story or introduce an idea every week. However, it's always been a challenge getting that character's "voice" or other talented actor to serve every week, every service. Because of that, we had to come up with a creative solution. We have begun prerecording the voice using a program like Garage Band and producing an mp3 that can be played every week, every service. We record a month's worth of stories at a time. Then, on Sunday, anyone can be behind the curtain operating the puppet and the quality and talent of your voice never fails. It's even great for puppet dialogue. If you don't have a computer that does that, start with a handheld digital voice recorder that can plug into your sound system or hold it behind the curtain!
Hope this helps,
